Project Corrections / Time spent: I fixed the bottom-right box on my flier and then decided that I really wanted to redo my event page. That is where I spent all of my time. I changed everything about this project starting with the theme. My original project was a garden show and this project was a pancake breakfast. I think the finished product turned out pretty well considering it was created on Microsoft Word. I spent a little over 2 1/2 hours.
Message: The message of my portfolio is showcase my work and my design style. I think it is clear that my portfolio is calming and has a good sense of rhythm.
Audience: My audience is my teacher, fellow classmates, and potential clients and employers.
Top Thing Learned: At first, I thought that this portfolio would be the easier project, but it was a lot more time consuming then I had expected. It took a lot time, care, and attention to detail to create this portfolio. I actually changed the project completely twice and then finally settle on what really felt right.
Future application of Visual Media: I want to continue improving my skills and be able to attract clients and employer with my work. I want to be able to find success in Graphic and Web Design.

Hi Heather, I really love what you did with your portfolio. Your design brings out a lot of personality while still remaining professional. It was really intriguing for me to see your color scheme. I like what you changed on your event ad as well, I think small changes make a huge impact! Good job! I think that Casey also did a great job, you can check out her portfolio project here: https://ame14002.wordpress.com/category/comm-130/design/

Heather, thanks for the complement! I really liked the brochure that you made. I chose the same layout and like seeing what you did with it. I also like the logo you created for the project as well. My wife and I are hoping for twins so seeing your brochure must be a sign that we will have twins. You did a great job this semester!
